Plácido Sesimbra was once a young star with a lot of potential that was until his equally young team saw itself forced to quit. So it became that Sesimba found him without a team but with the attention of a lot of namely Portugese teams. Then he came across the offer of our team we offered him a test period of 30 days to make up his mind and keep in shape and get a taste of racing in the higher divisions.
Plácido: "I really got a lot of offers the past days and It was hard not to make a rash decision. I think signing with peddelen was the right thing to do I can now take a good look at all the offers I got while keeping in shape and I get the chance to see on off the best sprinters in the world of close by which will help in my own sprinting development."
Pete: "We are proud that Sesimbra has chosen for peddelen and he is welcome. Also I want to comment on rumours that Sesimbra will leave after his 30 days contact has expired. We made an offer as well and we will see what he thinks of it and were he want to spend his future. In the meantime he can race, train with our team and learn from the expirence we have in sprinting."
Sesimbra is currently in the peddelen trainingsfacility "because the best way to clear your mind is a good exercise"
Sesimbra is likely to debut in the peddelen at the start of next season in Phoenix GP replacing the injured Orlan Gasco
